Sleepy chat

Post office came out with some great new price list for international shipping!!!
This is such great news for me – since most of my items are made of ceramics and most of my clients are international, so I am glad to say I finished updating shipping costs at my Etsy shop.
I must say I love etsy shopping – but for some reason most of my buyers rather buy through e-mail or social networks while I find Etsy much more comfy.
Anyway, this was a long day – I miss lots of sleeping hours
Good night & Much love

Light Meeting =0)

(Every Sunday when I need to get up for work – I miss living in the USA lol =D)
Now, Friday we had the most fun and creative 'Arts & Crafts Forum' meeting at the north part of the country.
It was so much fun (as always =) ).
The meeting subject was “LIGHT”. We had to make little giveaways goodies, and one major work that will be exchanged in a fun gifts game =0)
This is what I’ve made for all of them:
and rapped:
and this was my “light gift” for the game:
and here is what I got (polymer clay):
Also, at the meeting we had candles making course which was very professional and covers many options and ways for candles making – so I guess I will have to find the time to get more practice of that=0).
Beside these we had exchanged so many great arts and crafts!!!!! I will post some pics of it later on, it is such a great fun to have such great handmade items and to get to know all the great people behind it.

Golden rings

I usually don’t make jewelry, I rather buy it, or get it as gifts =0)
This time I was trying to find another way to recycle clay leftover,
And decided to give rings a try.
I added clear glaze and 12karat gold luster.
The results are rough but I like it so far. Maybe next time I will make it more delicate and gentle.
I am going to my Arts and Crafts forum meeting in the morning. I know we are going to have super great time!
Now I have to get all my presents ready and rap it all =0)

Staying at home all these past weeks without being able to much around the house because of my little girl’s chicken pox…. I had the time to finally finish the Origami stars project =0)
So here it is, mission accomplished we have jar full of over 550 stars…(we were lost in count =p)
Have a great day with only optimist news!!!

Here we go again =0)

Tag tag tagggggggged again =0) this time I got tagged by the very talented Alexis from Little artwork, and rules are little different=0).

So here it is 7 random things about me:

1)I really need to relax a little. I am made of the kind of people that carry the whole world struggles and troubles over their shoulders. So my shoulders are heavy from worrying about anything and everything. If you can just give me a reason to worry about I will have it on me. So now after years of living like this I know that I should relax a little, not lose my sensitivity to humanity but lighten up (wish me luck!)

2) I loooooooooove feeding my obsessions!!! Usually it starts with one item….I like it and get another things like it – and then I must sculpt it and from there it is like a rolling snow ball =0), and I love it!! My favorite obsessions are apples, snakes, pajamas and many more =0).

3)I am the clumsiest ever! I keep on breaking things! Mainly, it happens around the house. Oh, and you don't want to know what goes on when I try to be useful at some other places…just horrible!!

4)This is a continue to # 3 – I tend to trip and fall! Don't ask why ..it has nothing to do with my heels or the floor I walk on, I just keep on falling and flying over innocent ppl…. (although, I realize that male kind are much more forgiving type =P )

5)I have a shoes temple at my house!
Actually, it is more of a room full of shoes. I have more than 100 pairs that I know for sure, it is my obsession! for the sake of my family members and in order of not letting the shoes to conquer over the house I made this little agreement with myself : for every 2 new pairs – 1 old one is leaving the house….

6)I love pets!!! As my obsessions, if it wasn’t for my husband I bet I had a mini zoo at my house =) so far peat count are: 1 Pekinese dog, 1 kitty cat, 2 white mousses and 2 tortoises.

7) day dreaming is one of my daily routine =0). Does not matter how many sleeping hours I got during the day, day dreaming is just a part of me =0) I love dreaming!

Here are the rules:
* Link to the person who tagged you
* Post the rules on your blog
* Write 7 random things about yourself
* Tag 7 people at the end of your post and link to them
* Let each person know they've been tagged

Keep Calm and Carry On

During war times,
It is the simple and little things that makes us
Comfort and smile =0)
After such a long time without shopping
I saw this:

I decided to let myself have it =0)
Just a little sentence that get real huge meanings in such times as the past war days.

Weekend is over..

Bunny silhouette, originally uploaded by Oooty.

The weekend is over =(

It was very relaxing calming Saturday. I did my best to try to live and breathe out right, trying not to think about the war and just letting myself have some rest.

So I was sleeping most of it ( I guess I needed it =)). Beside sleeping I was at my home studio with my girl. I was making cards and pictures silhouettes.

I love making these silhouettes it is such a calming practice =)

My camera is ill =( so it is pic from my spare one, once I’ll get it fixed I will post the new cards and silhouettes pictures =0)

(oh my I feel so useless without my cam :-P)

Five little loves ( I was Tagged=0))

I have been tagged by the fabulous ArtMind to name five things I love and do in the everyday.
First loves that comes to mind are of course my girl, husband and the little animal zoo that I’ve got at home… but I’ll pass on the obvious and here it is, my five loveable things at my day:

1) Sleeping.

I adore my bed =) I have lots of lots of pillows all around and over me. It is my favorite hobby. If I have more than 30 min free I’ll be spending it sleeping (people go to Tennis, craft classes and such things, I go to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep).

2) Fluff friends Facebook playing.

Well I have to admit that at first I was little embarrassed sayin’ it – but now I got so addicted that I don’t care anymore =D it is the perfect runaway “place” people are very nice there always giving gifs getting petted and other sweet activity.

3) Spending time in my home studio.

Even if I don’t have the muse or the time to make something I have to spent some time there. With a cup of coffee, just sterring at things or daydreaming, the world is much nicer from this room =) (this very messy room I mean).

4) Art on the net.

I never have enough time to look at all things I want to!!! So many great artists, such great inspiration, I love it all :Flickr, DeviantArt, Blogger, crafter, ArtFaceOff and my Hebrew ‘Arts and craft’ community that I manage for the last 5 years. I love getting to know all the great people behind the great works!!!

5) Taking long lemon relaxing baths.

This is a MUST for me and for my sanity. I live in a crazy place with lots of tension, so this is how I choose to end my day at my shower room with lemon’s smell all over (which known for its calming characters) this is the only time at a day no one will interrupt me =P My advice: you should give it a try!!!!

I know I need to Tag 5 more people so they’ll will let us know what are the five everyday loves , but I am new “around here” so I’d be glad if any of you my readers will do so =D and this way I will get to know you better =)

Trying to hold on to normality.
Waiting for better times. And wishing for my loves safety.
I have such a great comfort being with my child and having Arts and crafts in my life.
I thank god for it .

I remember the day I took this picture. It was very cold I felt so bad, I was on my way back to the car, and there it was =0)
Little heart down on earth just by my car. It made me feel better so I had to take a pic of it.
So now days, I look back at it – and try to enjoy the little things and find comfort from the very simple things, seeing and thoughts that I have around me.

Stay safe.
