Baby Cloth

After quick view at mt fabrics stack, I have decided to use some of the lefties simply for cotton (fancy =D) baby burp cloths =).

these are really great, baby friendly, easy to make, and with this baby of mine goes lots and lots in and out of laundry room =).

Tiny little mate

My daughter asked me for the longest time to make her a tiny bear that she could carry around with her. I don't why it took me so long to make this one, because it is such a cute little project.

This one is really tiny, about 8cm tall =).

If you'd like to make one yourself I find this pattern very easy to follow.

Stroller mat

As much as my spare time is narrowing, I still can't get away from my studio =D, I guess it is the crazy summer that we are having here, that brings all these muses within. Since I did not sew anything since I gave birth (2 weeks from today =)) I have decided to make something that will be both fun and easy project and also very needed one. So, instead of going to buy new cushion for NB stroller, I have decided to make one myself.

I saw in all online shops that it is better to sew towel for lower layer to prevent sweating and stains on stroller.

I am pretty happy that I was able to actually get some sewing time again =)

And for many more to come =D)

So many things to do..

At Such little time... =D I know I just gave birth, I know it is summer vacation , BUT.... I guess this is my character - I just can't wait to get back on track of life!!!! There are so many things I want to make and get done around the house!!!!

little one (correction: my bigger one =D) is going to first grade, and I am so so so excited about it (more than her i think!) we bought all we need - now we just need to organize it for her =).

My brother's wedding is only a week a way - I am happy to say I found a cute RED dress (that hide my tummy =D)!! 

Now I really need to find nice shoes!!! 

WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL BE NICER: BLACK OR GOLDEN SHOES FOR MY RED DRESS??

I could not decide today but I don't have much time to hesitate on that...

Our new business is about to be open in just few more days!!!! Great news for us!! All the hard work, and year and a half of waiting will soon start to pay off!!

So, there are so many things (new and exciting!) I must RELAX =D I wish I knew how to (lol)

Kids Wall Art

I can't remember this HOT summer in here for the longest, yes it is a warm (very warm) country, but this past month was CRAZY hot!!! I could barely breath outside.

Anyway, since it is summer vacation, we were so narrowed with our outdoor activities due to this weather. We go to the beach, swimming pools, different slides and water parks, BUT also needed to find any other non-water activity that MUST include AC.
So, we had on our list Movie theater, some indoor playgrounds and IKEA =D 

Yeh! Ikea! I took the my girl with her cousin to Ikea,last week, we looked for frames to decorate their rooms, also bought some nice kids decoration pillows, plus bonus kids play that happened to be played there , so they had a great time with Ice creame for the finalla =D (Oh and - so did I!) We came back home straight to my studio to work on the pictures for the new frames.

Here is some of the art wall the girls put together. I did not get to photo it all, I guess I will do so when it will be placed on their walls. It was fun activity with them, used fabrics lefties for it - and they were kept busy =)

The PANEL bag

After was not being able to move around, I got up yesterday all good as new =D (on one hand - Oh no , not any sign of baby wanting to join us...) But, on the other hand, I was pleased with being able to move around, since I have received this great great giveaway from Nicole from You SEW Girl that I won

One day overdue my due date =p I have little to know patience at all...and I can't really work on my sewing machine. I pass my studio time working (still) on my brother's wedding's gifts =). BUT, since Summer vacation is here, and my girl is at home with me, I do try to keep myself calm and busy with her. Searching for new cooling activities for her in this super hot weather, cooking and baking together (Finally she is using those cute aprons I sew for her =)) And I enjoy her a lot!! At night, when she goes to sleep, I get things ready for our new one to come =) here are some sweets preparations =D!!

Red and Aqua Doilies

I am so not used to crochet with such thin threads, but since I have lots of energy to create and minimum body cooperation =D I am trying to do my best =P
